PURE LIFE CARBON MAKING A SPLASH IN DUBAI
In Red Deer, Alberta we are given access to Pure Life Carbon’s base of operations. We hear from Brad Fournier and Jim Hole about how their substrate, made from charred bamboo is the only product on the market that is clean and can be reused. Other substrates either have a high carbon footprint, cannot be recycled, or carry disease. We’ll meet two growers in the area who have decided to trial the Pure Life Carbon substrate. Gabriel of Sunterra Farms and Phil of Gull Valley Greenhouse are both very encouraged by the results so far. For Gabriel, who is concerned about the effects of climate change on greenhouse growing, this substrate “will solve many issues environmentally” and “will be a game changing product for the industry
