Our process


Pure Life Carbon produces premium biochar for use as a growing medium, soil additive or in filtration; other applications are in development. We use a renewable and sustainable organic feedstock which is very hard in the pyrolysis process. This prevents the carbon skeleton from crumbling when used and retains its highly developed pore structure when converted to biochar.
